The GiraGirasole Community Center, founded as an initiative of the Pope John XXIII Community, has been operating since 2012 in the heart of the Marche region, in Fano in the province of Pesaro-Urbino. Its goal has always been to offer young people with disabilities a space where they can express themselves and grow. Now they need your help to raise, by September 18, 2026, the €30,000 needed to cover the costs of additional educators, who are essential for guiding each young person and helping them realize their full potential.

Let's help Paulin beat cancer

Paulin is a 28-year-old boy living in one of the Pope John XXIII Community's shelters in Cameroon. He underwent surgery for a malignant tumor in his back and now faces a long and expensive course of chemotherapy, radiation, and drugs to prevent the tumor from metastasizing. The amount to be raised to save him is at least €7,000. Your help is essential to give him back the hope and future he so laboriously tries to build every day.

Help us get the Youth of Ukraine bus back on the road

In Ukraine's Kherson region, drone attacks target communities already exhausted by war every day. Here Youth of Ukraine has been working with the Pope John XXIII Community (APG23) since 2022, including through Operation Dove volunteers in the field. While the staff was busy digging a well in a rural village the minibus was badly damaged. Let's help them repair it so they can continue to care for the victims of war.

A new van for the San Clemente Family Home

Simone is the manager of the San Clemente Family House, a hospitality organization of the Pope John XXIII Community, located in Imola, in the Poggiolo area, which has been offering hospitality to people with physical and mental disabilities and social difficulties since 2004. Now they need your help to raise the €17,500 needed to buy a capacious vehicle that will allow guests to reach recreational and work activities in the city and the area.

A safer and more affordable car for Valentino and Roberta's family

Valentino and Roberta are the father and mother of the Family House Our Lady of Peace, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community, which since 2001 has been giving love to children and people often suffering from severe disabilities. Now they need your help to raise the €20,000 needed to buy a car that will allow them to transport a wheelchair and allow older people to get in and out without the use of lifts.

The heart of the home: a new kitchen for the Bruno and Caterina Family Home

Bruno and Caterina are the father and mother of the Casa Famiglia Sacra Famiglia of Nazareth, a welcoming reality of the Pope John XXIII Community, which for more than 20 years has been giving love welcoming boys in difficulty, often with disabilities. Now they need your help to raise the €25,000 needed to renovate the kitchen and offer their kids a safe environment where they can share emotions and build precious new memories.

In Chile alongside the Mapuche people - 2026

The Mapuche, an indigenous people in Chile, have been persecuted and ignored for years: the State does not recognise their existence or protect their identity. Deprived of their land of origin, they are forced to fight to get it back and are therefore victims of strong repression. The Community, with volunteers, supports them in this path of claim in a peaceful and non-violent way. Support them too.

Operation Dove in Syria and Lebanon - 2026

Operation Dove volunteers share life and work alongside Syrian refugees in refugee camps in Lebanon. Since 2024, they have also started making periodic trips to Syria to monitor the situation. Supporting volunteers, helping and protecting them, means still believing in the strength of relationships and the peace that comes from staying close and dreaming together.

Operation Dove in Colombia - 2026

Operation Dove volunteers are present in the Peace Community of San José de Apartadó to provide the civilian population with greater security and hope for a better life. Support them to build peace with them.

Operation Dove in Palestine - 2026

Since 2002, volunteers from Operation Dove have been present in Palestine, first in the Gaza Strip, in Al Qarara (Khan Younis), then since 2004 in the West Bank, in the village of At-Tuwani (hills south of Hebron). Today more than ever, therefore, the presence of Operation Dove volunteers is essential: to protect the safety of the Palestinian inhabitants of the area, who just want to live on their own land.

In Greece to walk alongside migrant people - 2026

Greece is the European Union's first port of call for those fleeing war and persecution. Those who arrive here often find themselves alone, forced to live on the streets. Volunteers from the Pope John XXIII Community, together with Operation Dove, visit people living in and outside refugee camps to offer them support and services, and monitor and report on the human rights violations they suffer. Their presence is crucial: support them on this journey of peace.

Operation Dove in Ukraine - 2026

Since March 2022 Operation Dove has been present in Ukraine, first in Lviv, Kiev and Odessa, currently in Mykolaïv and Kherson. Supporting the presence of Operation Dove volunteers means not leaving the most fragile people in conflict-affected territories alone and concretely supporting the efforts of those who want to respond to violence with solidarity.

The Pope John XXIII Community has been working in Iraq for ten years. Starting in 2026 it will intensify its presence in Qaraqosh, a village symbolic of the Christian presence in Iraq. To do this it needs €20,000. Support this project to ensure that this population can build a dignified and peaceful life for themselves.

Alberto and Natascia are the father and mother of the Mother of Love Family Home, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community, which currently gives love and welcome to people with physical and mental disabilities. Now they need your help to raise the €30,000 needed to purchase a new fully equipped car that will enable them to take their wheelchair-bound children to medical appointments, possible hospitalizations, and to school safely and comfortably.

Let's furnish new welcoming spaces together

A new solidarity "village" of the Pope John XXIII Community has sprung up in Noce di Mercatale, a place designed for the mutual support of three family homes and one family open to welcoming. 50,000€ is needed to complete the furnishings. With your contribution we can help these families give life to these places and hope to the people who will inhabit them.

A new car for Tito and Jaqueline's love mission

Tito and Jaqueline are the father and mother of the Family House "Maria Madre Acogedora," a welcoming reality of the Pope John XXIII Community. Over the years they have given shelter to children and people in fragile conditions. Now they need your help to buy a new car that will serve not only for their family to be able to move independently, but also for Tito to distribute the Food Network food boxes to different families and those in need. G9 Center: a family and a future for Nairobi's street kids

The G9 center in Kenya takes in street children and youth and offers them the chance to have a normal life: eating, sleeping, going to school and learning how to take care of themselves and others. Operation Dove

Operazione Colomba's volunteers work side by side with victims in conflict zones, living with them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, sharing risks and hardships but also hopes and possible solutions. Thanks to their international presence and nonviolent actions, they protect the lives of defenseless civilians and concretely build Peace where there is hatred and violence. Peace in the world is a common good: to build it, we need everyone's help.

Your table for One Meal a Day

The Pope John XXIII Community, through the One Meal a Day campaign, shares the table and life with those in need, in about 40 countries around the world. We live with the poor and listen to them to build a life path together.

At the side of those who live on the street

The Pope John XXIII Community welcomes those living on the streets to its Bethlehem Huts, places where we live with the homeless and lonely. It meets them thanks to the volunteers of the street units who go out every night to look for them, and in the soup kitchens, where we feed hundreds of people every night. Support us to continue to give comfort and a future to those who have lost everything.
