A new van for the San Clemente Family Home
Simone is the manager of the San Clemente Family House, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community, located in Imola, in the town of Poggiolo, which has been offering hospitality to people with physical and mental disabilities and social difficulties since 2004. Now they need your help to raise the €17,500 needed to buy a minibus that will allow guests to reach recreational and work activities in the city and the area.

In the house live Salvatore, a member of the Community, and his mother Luisa, , along with 8 welcomed people, many of whom face not only social difficulties but also situations of mental distress or disability. Over the years, hundreds of frail people have found shelter within these walls, and for many of them, this has not only been a temporary accommodation, but the safe haven where they can finally feel at home forever.
For Simone and those who share this mission with him, accompanying each person sheltered in the commitments of daily life is a priority. Many of them need to attend recreational and work activities in and around the city, but the nearest bus stop is 3 kilometers away from the facility: numerous accompanying trips to Imola or to where public transportation passes every day are necessary. The only vehicle currently available is a four-seater car, which is completely insufficient to meet the needs of such a large family.
This is why they need your help: they need to purchase a larger vehicle, such as a minibus, which will allow them to accompany more people at the same time and meet everyone's daily needs.
The cost of the minibus is €17,500: with your support, we can help them achieve this important goal, giving them the opportunity to optimize their travel and experience each daily activity as a valuable opportunity to grow, without giving up.
