Hello, I am Simone, the manager of the San Clemente Family House, a shelter for adults of the Pope John XXIII Community located in Poggiolo (Imola).

For more than 20 years I have been sharing life with people who face not only social difficulties but also situations of mental distress or disability. In our home they have been able to find a refuge and a place where they can feel safe.

Our house is located in the countryside, which is why it is very beautiful but ... far from everything! It takes at least 3 km to reach the public transportation stop and for the people in the house it is essential to have the possibility and autonomy to move around for work, leisure and to cultivate social relationships that are fundamental to the well-being of every individual.

This is why we have activated a fundraiser: we need a capacious vehicle to replace the 4-seater car, especially since the other vehicle we have at the facility is now close to "retirement."

With simplicity, we are asking for your help to raise €17,500 to cover the cost of purchasing a used van that we will need to accompany several people at the same time and meet everyone's daily needs.
