A new car equipped for Alberto and Natascia's family
Alberto and Natascia are the father and mother of the Mother of Love Family Home, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community, which currently gives love and welcome to people with physical and mental disabilities. Now they need your help to raise the €30,000 needed to purchase a new fully equipped car that will enable them to take their wheelchair-bound children to medical appointments, possible hospitalizations, and to school safely and comfortably.
Alberto and Natascia are the father and mother of the Casa Famiglia Madre dell'Amore (Mother of Love Family House), a foster home of the Pope John XXIII Community located in Savigliano, in the province of Cuneo.
Their welcoming story began in 1999, when Don Oreste, after celebrating their marriage, entrusted them with Mabvuto, a 4-year-old Zambian child with mental and behavioral problems.
As of today, their family consists of 13 people: in their home, in addition to Lorenzo and Luca, two of their three natural children, there are along with Mabvuto who is now 31 years old, 10-year-old Giovanni, 26-year-old Bardhull, little brothers Pasquale and Emanuele aged 11 and 9, 62-year-old Marina, 18-year-old Natascia and finally 6-year-old Anna. Each of them brings with them often painful life stories marked by severe disabilities, both physical and mental.
Alberto and Natascia, having taken in several people in wheelchairs, now need a new, fully equipped car that can complement the van they already own. The new vehicle is essential for the well-being of their children: it will be used to take them to medical appointments, possible hospitalizations and to school safely and comfortably.
The cost of the new car is 30,000€: with your help we are sure we can achieve this goal and allow Alberto and Natascia to continue to give their boys the care and dignity they deserve every day. Thank you!
