Become a champion of solidarity!
Milos is one of the 13 children of mum Maria Dina and dad Dino of the Casa Famiglia di Camaiore of the Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII and has a great passion: figure skating. Despite serious health problems he has already achieved some amazing results, but our champion needs you to continue to dream. Sport at a competitive level involves onerous expenses and in order to reach ever greater goals Milos needs your help!
Milos is 14 years old and has a great passion: figure skating. For him it is a unique feeling. When he skates his body becomes light, his feet dart to the rhythm of the music and he is happy.
He was Italian figure skating champion in the AICS Azzurrini category and everyone in his family is rooting for his dream to continue.
Milos is already a great champion. He was born with a very serious internal malformation syndrome and has undergone many surgeries. He is still being cared for by medical specialists, but that has not stopped him and he continues to wear his skates. He does not always feel as confident as when he is on the rink, but falling sometimes is part of the race and Milos treasures this lesson to remind himself that it is always possible to get back up.
Mother Maria Dina and father Dino believe in him and his talent and make many sacrifices to allow him to compete and train competitively. In addition to Milos, they have 12 children in their Camaiore Family Home of the Pope John XXIII Community and are mom and dad to those who had no one or could not stay in their family. In this interlocking love they want each child, in their needs and desires, to grow in their uniqueness, even if this sometimes brings thoughts and worries they do not want their children to be affected by.
For Milos, skating is the path through which insecurity gives way to self-confidence and limits are overcome. It is a possible future for him, but competitive sports involve onerous expenses.
Maria Dina and Dino see his eyes light up when he skates and the freedom he feels when his body moves and turns on itself, and they are doing everything to ensure that this dream of his continues.
The goal to be achieved together is to allow Milos to continue training and competing. Training, athletic training, internships and participation in Italian federation competitions cost 11,000€ for one year. Milos has learned from his mom and dad that he can dream big for his life, and your help will enable him to make greater and greater achievements!
