Luca is a very intelligent boy (suffering from paraplegia) who lives in the family home of Bruno and Tiziana who have been part of the Pope John XXIII Community for over 20 years and in their home they welcome lonely people in need of a safe place to live and grow.

Luca carries the burden of his physical condition on a daily basis and his acceptance of his condition really touches the heart. One day, a person asked him if he could pray for him that he would be physically better but Luca replied that he was happy as he was! His humility and caring for those in need is great.

For about 5 years now his family has been organizing school transportation for both their children and other disabled children in Mondavio and another neighboring town.

Starting next year, Luca will also begin his high school journey and will have to use this transportation. However, the vehicle the home currently has is not equipped to accommodate a wheelchair.

With this collection , we can help Luke in his incredible adventure, as well as kids with disabilities in our area.
