One last effort to build together a place of welcome and love

Gianna and I wish to strongly relaunch a project we have been working on for two years, that of renovating the rooms on the ground floor of our house to make a mini-apartment that will serve as a semi-autonomous home for other people in need. Thanks to the support of so many people, we managed to raise almost €17,000, and we have started the work , which we expect to finish in the first months of next year; however, some unforeseen problems have arisen during the course of the work: the building in which we live is very beautiful and large but, like all old structures, once you get your hands on it with this kind of intervention, almost never do the plans go as you had planned and new, often onerous work arises. Plus material estimates and overhead costs have risen. Now we need one last effort: to raise the 10,000€ needed to cover the total cost of this major renovation. Some simpler work I have done myself with the invaluable help of friends, but alone it is impossible to complete this major project.Creating a space where every person can feel welcome and safe is our greatest desire. With your help, we are confident that we can turn this dream into reality and give shelter to those who need it most.
