A new bus for a better road

Do you want to make a really special and useful gesture for Christmas? Help us to buy a new bus for the children of the Family House of Fatima.We met this house by chance during our walk to Santiago, we were only supposed to stop one day in Fatima, instead a unique experience was born that will last 10 days, and not only that, we will spend Christmas with them.The stories of the people in this place are really hard. Always considered the rejects of society, most have lived in conditions we can't even begin to imagine.PEOPLE who have been beaten, abused, without any family. PEOPLE who have been abandoned, abused and never had anything in life.PEOPLE who have lived on the streets or in real holes without electricity, gas or even a shower to wash.People who now, thanks to the community of Pope John XXIII and the constant presence of Antonio are finding a smile and a hope for the future.Afew days ago their minibus, indispensable for their daily life, broke down and they can no longer take trips out of town all together. For them the bus is really necessary and urgent.Throughout their lives they have given up so many things and we can no longer allow this to happen.Even today we went on a trip to Nazaré, but one of them had to give up, because a simple car is not enough for all of them and for all the needy people to whom the house opens its doors every day.Unity is strength and little is needed to make a difference.Let's help Antonio and his boys to buy back the van!Thank you and Merry Christmas.

We met this house by chance during our walk to Santiago, we were only supposed to stop one day in Fatima, instead a unique experience was born that will last 10 days, and not only that, we will spend Christmas with them.


The stories of the people in this place are really hard. Always considered the rejects of society, most have lived in conditions we can't even begin to imagine.

In the Family House Nossa Senhora of Fatima the real miracle is the poor, the disabled and the homeless who, by doing the honours of the house, give back the welcome and the care they received to the pilgrims they meet on their way. Today, together with Antonio, there are 9 people in all and they need your help to buy a minibus that will allow this wonderful family to travel together. Help them to remain united in opening themselves to the world!
