The School puts a brick with you!

In Sorso (SS) the day centre "Il Girasole", managed by the Cooperativa Sociale San Damiano, has been welcoming for years girls and boys with disabilities, also from nearby towns (Sennori, Tergu, Valledoria, Ploaghe, Chiarmonti, Sassari). The Cooperative and all its guests now have an important dream to realize: to requalify the existing spaces and open a second day centre for work training. The Comprehensive Institute of Sorso has created a strong bond of solidarity, also on the occasion of the Christmas Market 2017 of the Santa Maria Primary School, between the guests of the center and the pupils with their families, and has always participated with all school orders and with a lot of enthusiasm in the various initiatives organized by "Il Girasole". On the occasion of Christmas 2021 we could reconfirm our solidarity, putting a brick in this new venture of the Cooperative, donating even small amounts and remembering that: "What we do is just a drop in the ocean, but if we didn't do it the ocean would have one less drop".(Mother Teresa of Calcutta)

The Cooperativa Sociale San Damiano, which manages the center promoted by the Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII, knows that it is an important dream to realize, but with your help the boys can make it happen.
