With this line, one of my friend Vittorio's most beautiful, I begin the account of my trip to the land of Colombia .

The Comunidad de Paz de San Josè de Apartadó (CdP) is one of the highest expressions of nonviolent resistance to war. Constantly under threat for the wealth of their land, the inhabitants of this small and simple village persevere in defending their principles of self-subsistence, mutual aid and environmental sustainability. Here these new fellow travelers become a concrete and forward-looking proposal for a different model of society, peaceful and inclusive.

Afundamental support for CdP is represented by the international presence on the ground guaranteed by the volunteers of Operation Dove (nonviolent peace corps of the Pope John XXIII Community), and I therefore make myself promoter and spokesperson for this fundraiser to be considered, here and everywhere, a real investment for future generations!
