The CEC "Casa Madre della Speranza" is a reality of the Pope John XXIII Community, which takes in boys who, after a cognitive path carried out in prison, have been allowed to serve their sentences in an alternative way. Here the boys received, thanks to the help of the operators, in addition to carrying out educational and work activities in the area, are accompanied to both medical examinations and job interviews or meetings with social workers, which are essential for them to be able to reintegrate into society.
A car is needed to enable all these activities, and I chose to activate this fundraiser to help them achieve this goal.
Imet the CEC boys in July, driven by curiosity about the world of prison and a desire to see before my eyes that it is indeed true that, as Don Oreste Benzi says, "man is not his mistake" and one can always be reborn.
As a volunteer, spending time in the company of these boys is for me the most precious opportunity to meet and get to know people who have a very great desire to be loved and who in life have tried to satisfy it with wrong choices.
You don't get back up on your own, and CEC is an opportunity for rebirth for those who take it, and every contribution you can make, even the smallest, is so important to continue offering this opportunity.
