A minibus for Silvia and Yan's family

There are 8 in the family and getting around is impossible with their old car. We would like to buy a van that will allow them to carry out normal daily activities and, why not, take a trip all together to share special moments! Help us to reach the goal!

A minibus for Silvia and Yan's family

There are 8 in the family and getting around is impossible with their old car. We would like to buy a van that will allow them to carry out normal daily activities and, why not, take a trip all together to share special moments! Help us to reach the goal!

Silvia and Yan are the mother and father of a family open to the hospitality of the Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII and they live in Sant'Andrea in Besanigo, a small village in the Rimini hinterland. Since they were young, they have always believed in welcoming people who have no one and, once married, they chose to be a family for those who have no one.
There are 8 members of the family: in addition to them there are their two children Iris and Pedro, 3 years and 8 months old; Angela, a 50 year old lady with psychiatric problems; Ciro, 50 years old with a history of life on the street behind him... now he is a wonderful uncle and playmate for little Iris; Abdulai, a 20 year old boy from Guinea and finally Stefano, 56 years old and he asked to be part of their family to be surrounded by warmth and love.
Since there are many of them, they move around every day for the various daily trips but, at the moment, they have a car with 5 seats that does not allow them to move all together. Even just going for ice cream or going on an outing becomes a challenge.
The old Punto is no longer a suitable means of transport for them to move around, let alone travel together. They would like so much to be able to allow everyone to share more moments together. Help the Community to buy a new bus!
