Solidarity travels on four wheels!
Franca and Marco are the managers of the "Santa Paola" Family Home of the Pope John XXIII Community, where they have been lovingly welcoming frail people for years. Recently, they needed a bus equipped for one of their disabled children. Grazia, a longtime member of the Community, donated the vehicle to them. Now, Grazia needs a used car worth €15,000 to replace the minibus she no longer needed. Franca and Marco wish to raise this amount to reciprocate Grazia's generosity. Join this chain of solidarity and help them turn their gratitude into concrete help.
Franca and Marco are the managers of the "Santa Paola" Family Home, a welcoming reality of the Pope John XXIII Community, located in Roncofreddo in the province of Rimini.
The real treasure and strength of the house are their children at heart: Elio, Antonio, Mirco and Albena. Now adults, with the passage of time they have become the true protagonists of family life: capable of transmitting that warmth and trust that makes anyone arriving from very fragile and critical situations immediately feel at home, including often pregnant women who have given birth to their babies here.
Unfortunately, the minibus the family owns has become very old and requires constant and costly maintenance. For this reason, Franca and Marco expressed the need to be able to have a new vehicle, which is indispensable not only for the family's many trips, but also for the activities of home life and especially for Antonio, who is forced to live in a wheelchair and needs a means of transportation equipped with a platform.
In the Pope John XXIII Community, challenges are faced together as a true family. As soon as Grazia, a long-time member of the Community, learned of this need, she decided to make a gesture of great generosity: to donate to them her son Nicola's fully equipped minibus, which she has taken in and raised since childhood and who unfortunately passed away recently.
In lieu of the minibus, however, Grazia would need a used car, valued at €15,000. Franca and Marco as a sign of deep gratitude, have chosen to "repay" them by raising this amount for Grazia, allowing her to continue her precious mission of shelter with a vehicle of her own.
