We are Franca and Marco and we are the managers of the Family House "St. Paula," a hospitality organization of the Pope John XXIII Community. The real treasure of our home are our heart children: Elio, Antonio, Mirco and Albena. By now they are adults and have become the real protagonists of our family life: with their empathy and warmth they are able to make anyone arriving from very fragile and critical situations feel immediately "at home." As in all families, we now have a problem to solve: we recently needed to replace our old bus, with a new one, which is indispensable not only for our family's many trips, but also for the activities of home life and especially for Antonio, who is forced to live in a wheelchair and needs a means of transportation equipped with a platform. Do you know how it works in the community? Challenges are faced together, as a real and big family, which is why as soon as Grazia, a long-time member of the Community who lives in the province of Cuneo, heard about our need, she made a gesture of great generosity: she donated to us the equipped minibus of her son Nicola, who unfortunately passed away recently. Now, as a token of our deep gratitude, we have a wish to fulfill: to help Grace, who no longer has a vehicle to get around and carry on her precious mission of hospitality. Our goal is to raise €15,000 so that we can buy her a used car. With your help we can turn this chain of solidarity into a concrete reality. Franca and Marco are the managers of the "Santa Paola" Family Home of the Pope John XXIII Community, where they have been lovingly welcoming frail people for years. Recently, they needed a bus equipped for one of their disabled children. Grazia, a longtime member of the Community, donated the vehicle to them. Now, Grazia needs a used car worth €15,000 to replace the minibus she no longer needed. Franca and Marco wish to raise this amount to reciprocate Grazia's generosity.
