Hello we are Marcello and Lucina, we met in Piedmont, within the Pope John XXIII Community of which we are part. In 2011 we decided to get married and open our home to welcoming, and in 2018 we moved to Forlì to the Villaggio della Gioia, to continue to be a family for those who are alone: teens, fragile children, but also mothers who are finishing the path in the therapeutic community that is located near us.

Here at the Village of Joy in Forlì other families like ours live and children and young people are welcomed together with their parents, to follow and support them on a path aimed at autonomy. We walk together with them and in fact our house is always full of life and open to friends and volunteers who are looking for a warm place where they can feel useful and important.

We activated this collection in order to be able to take care of the Village we live in every day. Years go by and time wears down the means, the houses, the furniture. Now, in fact, we need your help to meet some needs, including a new kitchen just for our house. When it's time to sit at the table, there are always many of us; our current kitchen is marked by moving and a lot of living.

But we also need new fixtures because they are too old; we need to repair the car because it is indispensable to accompany the families we help and their children; we want to improve ourselves and that is why our dream is to organize training courses to handle the most critical family situations. The cost of all these interventions is 15,000€ but we cannot do it alone.

Any amount you can donate is really precious for us and for all the people who share life with us in thisspecial place where we are reborn through love.
