A car to keep loving: let's support St. Clare Family Home together

I have known Franco and Giovanna for many years. Their love for life, their ability to welcome, the strength with which they carry on every day the Santa Chiara Family House in Scicli (RG) are things that struck me deep inside. In 2014, thanks to a school project, I really discovered what "vocation" meant: theirs was clear, strong, overwhelming. From that moment on, I never left. I served as a volunteer, then returned with Civil Service, and even today, years later, I always come back to see them. Because in that house you can breathe something rare: a love that welcomes, supports and makes you grow.Franco and Giovanna chose to share their lives with boys and children with disabilities, giving them not only a home, but above all a family. Today they grow up together with Ilary, Giacomo, Chiaretta, M., and two little brothers full of energy and desire to discover the world. But today they need us.To continue to provide these kids with a life full of opportunities - therapies, school, sports activities, specialist visits - they need a new car. The current car is no longer safe, and many of the centers the boys need to attend are also 40-50 kilometers away.In particular, James, who has just finished school, needs to get to a specialized center for autistic boys on a regular basis, a place where he can grow, become more independent, and find his place in the world. The goal is to raise €13,000 to buy a safe, spacious and reliable car. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference.I believe in it, because I know them. I know how each day is a challenge, but also a profound choice of love.If you can, donate. And if you cannot donate, share.Together we can truly accompany these kids to a freer, more peaceful, happier future.Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💛

Because in that house you can breathe something rare: a love that welcomes, supports and makes you grow.

Franco and Giovanna chose to share their lives with boys and children with disabilities, giving them not only a home, but above all a family. Today they grow up together with Ilary, Giacomo, Chiaretta, M., and two little brothers full of energy and desire to discover the world.

But today they need us.

To continue to provide these kids with a life full of opportunities - therapies, school, sports activities, specialist visits - they need a new car. The current car is no longer safe, and many of the centers the boys need to attend are also 40-50 kilometers away.

In particular, James, who has just finished school, needs to get to a specialized center for autistic boys on a regular basis, a place where he can grow, become more independent, and find his place in the world.

The goal is to raise €13,000 to buy a safe, spacious and reliable car. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference.

I believe in it, because I know them. I know how each day is a challenge, but also a profound choice of love.

If you can, donate. And if you cannot donate, share.

Together we can truly accompany these kids to a freer, more peaceful, happier future.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💛

The fundraiser supports the project: A new car to experience the future with greater autonomy and inclusion
Total project goal: 13.000 €

Franco and Giovanna are the dad and mom of the "Santa Chiara" Family Home, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community, which currently gives loving care to six boys with disabilities. Now they need your help to raise the €13,000 needed to buy a new car and offer their children the opportunity to attend recreational activities and medical visits in centers far from home.
