A cargo-bike for Filippo, Paolo and Anna

Hi, we are Giada and Matteo! We have been married for 18 years and have adopted 3 super special children - Philip and Anna with Down Syndrome and Paul with Cerebral Palsy. We have been living in Waterford since December 2019. Waterford is located in the south east of Ireland and is the first town to be founded by the Vikings, in 904. Today it is a green and peaceful town overlooking the River Suir. The ocean is only 10 km from our home. In this first year we discovered the beauty of Irish nature and how important it is to protect it. That's why we decided to have only one car in the family (which Matteo uses to go to work): Giada and the children try to get around on foot, but when we are tired, or it rains and it's windy (and it happens often here), we need a means of transport that can protect us. After a lot of research we found the right vehicle for us: an electric cargo-bike. It's a three-wheeled bike with a box in front to accommodate up to 6 children and a tent on top to protect them. It's a bike that allows our kids to sit safely, see their surroundings better, be protected from rain and wind, and have a lot of fun!Can you help us realize our dream of having an eco-friendly and inclusive vehicle?

The fundraiser supports the project: Everyone on the cargo-bike! In Ireland, witnesses of love towards the last ones
Total project goal: 4.700 €

Giada and Matteo, mother and father of a family of the Pope John XXIII Community, live their vocation in Ireland, together with their 3 children Filippo, Paolo and Anna. Walking is their preferred means of transport but sometimes it is necessary to move faster: for this they need an electric cargo-bike. Let's help them to buy this means of transport suitable for their children and which also protects the environment!
