My husband Angelo and I are mom and dad from the Family House "Santa Libera" in Malo (VI). We met the Pope John XXIII Community when we were a young married couple. Angelo was a craftsman and I was dedicated to our little girl, Serena.We were a family like many, participating in parish life, yet we were missing "something." Saying yes to a life given to the least of these as the Family House of the Pope John XXIII Community radically changed our existence and gave new meaning to our being mom and dad. Soon to our 4 natural children, life wanted to give us other small and big children, alone and in need of love, who over time became an integral part of our family.Lara, a little girl with severe physical and cognitive deficits, had been abandoned in the hospital. She needed the love of a mom and dad, and when we took her in, we realized that the time was ripe and chose to be Family Home.Today there are 7 of us together with Lara, Joel, Danijel, Leonardo and Cindy, all teenagers. If we are here writing to you it is because we need your help. The van we use for our daily commute has reached 350,000 km and is no longer a safe vehicle for our family. The cost of buying a new minibus is €19,500, but we cannot do it alone. That's why we start here, with our collection contributing to the goal of the final financial goal. Angelo and Cecilia are dad and mom from the Family House "Santa Libera" of the Pope John XXIII Community in Malo (VI). Theirs is a large family and today there are seven of them in the house. For their travels they have always been accompanied by their faithful minibus, but now the old vehicle has to be replaced because it is no longer a safe transportation. Help them so that they can purchase a new one. The cost, however, is 19,500 euros: every contribution is important and without you they cannot make it!

Hi everyone!!! We wanted to thank all of you for supporting our fundraiser to purchase a van. We are grateful to each of you and we are sure that in your gift there is the affection that binds you to us!
