Are you going up with me?

Hello, we are Gian Paolo and Paola, father and mother of the Family Home "St. Mary of the Annunciation." Since we started this wonderful adventure over 25 years ago, several people have found affection and care in our family. Right now there are 9 of us in the house. We confess that it is not in our heart to ask for money, however, it gives us much peace to know that we are not doing it for us, but we are thus "giving voice to the voiceless." We live in Pontremoli in a large house in the center of town, convenient to the services and needs of the people who live there, but it has a problem: it is arranged on three floors with no elevator. The management of daily life has now become very difficult especially for Cristina (15 years old) and Michael (8 years old) because due to their disability they have great difficulty walking and moving. Therefore, some works are needed such as the renovation of one of the bathrooms in the house so that it is suitable for people with reduced mobility and the construction of a lifting platform. The lifting platform is really essential because only by installing it can Michael, who has severe cerebral palsy, continue to live with us. The expense for this work is really very high. A large sum is already available to carry out this work, but we still need to raise €40,000. We really trust in Providence, in thehelp of so many people like you who are reading this and who wish to allow us to continue the wonderful reality of sharing in this house. Come on, are you in?!Thank you. Paio and Paia --- You can also donate by bank transfer or postal bulletin. The fundraiser supports the project: Your help to continue to be family for those who are lonely
Total project goal: 60.000 €

The Gian Paolo and Paola Family House of the Pope John XXIII Community is in urgent need of some work, which is essential for the people with disabilities who live there: such as Michael, who because of his severe disability cannot walk and will only be able to continue living with his family if a lifting platform is installed in the house. The expense is high, let's help them together reach the goal to allow them to be family for those who don't have one!
