Despite the continuous worsening of the global situation, also due to the pandemic, Operazione Colomba has managed to resume its accompaniment and international civil protection activities in Colombia, alongside the members of the Peace Community of San José de Apartadó. Through nonviolence and neutrality, these people are resisting, day after day, the violations of Human Rights with the aim of continuing to live on their lands, which they cultivate to support themselves, respecting the environment.
Inthe last period, the intensification of violence and threats against Human Rights Defenders, environmental and social leaders like them has made Operation Dove's international presence on the ground even more INDISPENSABLE.
