Hellooooo!!! We have arrived!!! We have recently reached Puerto Madryn,in Argentina's Patagonia: here the Pope John XXIII Community organizes an after-school program for children from very poor backgrounds, often victims of violence, and assists families from nearby towns to give them food and support.Maurizio, head of the project, has warmly welcomed us to the house where we are preparing to welcome those who will knock on our door.Now, however, we need your help to find the right resources to purchase a safe vehicle for our babies, Ester and Elijah, and all the children we will meet who live too far from the shelter. The roads are often difficult and unpaved, so an adequate car is needed. We do not want to leave anyone behind!!! Your help is crucial in raising the €30,000 needed to purchase a new adequate and safe car, essential not only for the volunteers' travels, but also for accompanying the children to activities and visiting families in need.

Here we go!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone!!! Your generosity and closeness has amazed us, never did we think we could reach this amount in such a short time and we are immensely grateful.
For the past week we have been here in Puerto Madryn, and we are slowly entering into the beautiful and difficult diversity of this people who are going through the travails of economic inflation.
We are also experiencing in concrete terms the need to have a safe means by which to get around! Asphalt is a luxury present only in the city center and to reach the surrounding neighborhoods, where children often live in disadvantaged situations, dirt roads are often flooded by abnormal rains and full of potholes. The total goal of 30 thousand euros to be able to buy a car is still far away but we are confident that with your help we can still do a lot and get at least halfway to the goal.
Christmas is approaching and for us a donation, no matter how big or small, would be a beautiful gift. That's why we ask if you can help us spread the collection among friends and family. This is also a valuable way to make a difference ❤️
