For about 10 years I have been living, through Operation Dove, the sharing with people who live in territories of conflict and violence.

People who often feel forgotten, alone, worthless.

So many "little ones" that today this world seems to want to do without.

Living with these people is something more than an experience, it is a light, a change of life, a different way of living relationships, and of loving.

Everything takes on a deeper aspect, life, loss, connections.

In these months I am in Colombia, in the Community of Peace of San José de Apartadó,

A community of farmers, of people who for years have defended the land and its resources from exploitation,

A community of peasants, people who for years have defended the land and its resources from exploitation, who suffer death threats, attacks, killings of its members, and who despite this are still standing, continuing day after day on their path of justice and liberation.

Like a beating heart that many times crashes and many times comes back to life.

Using their own words:

"As pain turns to hope, always there will be community".

I thought of launching this collection to support the presence of Operation Dove in this place, a presence of accompaniment, protection, denunciation, closeness.

Even a small contribution can make a difference in the lives of many here.
