My cousin Valeria is experiencing a reality so far from our comfort ...we have spent hallucinating months invaded and raped by water that has taken over houses, memories, things and unfortunately in some cases even people.Next to our reality lies an opposite one, precisely in Kenya in the Turkana region, here life is hampered by the absence of water. It has not rained for more than 3 years and the people and children living in the villages in the area are forced to drink water by digging the earth but it is not drinkable and is extremely dangerous for their health.The project launched by the Pope John XXIII Community is to build two wells to ensure drinking water. By donating even a little all together, we can really make a difference to help Valeria and the people she has met realize this dream of justice. The fundraiser supports the project: A well to stop thirst: let's help the people of Turkana
Total project goal: 126.990 €

The Turkana region of Kenya is facing one of the worst droughts in 40 years. People are forced to dig shallow holes in lake beds to search for water, but it is dirty and undrinkable, causing serious health problems, especially among children. The solution is the construction of wells that can provide potable water. The total cost of the work is €126,990. Everyone's support is needed to achieve this goal. Your help now is indispensable.
