GIORGIO x ensure the transport service

The "Casa dei Nonni Sant'Anna" in Forlì is much more than a center for elderly people, it is a House where you can breathe a familiar, warm and welcoming environment. Many of our guests are unable to reach us independently, most of them no longer drive or do not have family members who can accompany them. In addition, for those elderly people who live alone or with relatives who are not able to assist them adequately, home visits are also provided, to bring them their shopping, arrange their house and in some cases help them with their self-care. Sharing days with the elderly is like being back in the arms of our grandparents. In order to make this possible, all of us who work at the centre have equipped ourselves with a means of transport that goes from house to house and accompanies them both to and from their homes. This is an extra service, very expensive, that the House provides, but it is essential for all those lonely people who, otherwise, could not reach us to spend a few hours in the company. Now, however, the centre is in difficulty and the resources are not sufficient. Help me to make less lonely the existence of our elderly, especially those who without the help of our bus would have great difficulty to reach us.Your donation will allow us to support the expenses of the vehicle and, therefore, continue to stay close to them.

A thank you as big as a grandfather's hug!

The "Casa dei Nonni Sant'Anna" is a fundamental presence in the territory of Forlì to respond to the increasingly urgent need to fight the loneliness of the third age. This is why we ask for your support to help the Parish S. Maria Ausiliatrice to sustain the many expenses and activities of the center. Families and elderly people cannot be left alone, especially after the year we have just lived, forced into serious isolation. To stay close to them we need your help.
