DANIELA x welcome to the centre those who cannot afford it

The pandemic that swept through us two years ago brought many families to their knees and they suddenly found themselves without work. Not only that, but many elderly people who were already struggling beforehand have made their situation worse. The long forced closures have led to physical aggravation - due to reduced mobility - and psychological aggravation - due to great loneliness. In this last year, the Quarry Parish, which manages together with the Pope John XXIII Community the "Casa dei Nonni Sant'Anna" in Forlì, has taken charge of the free participation fee that would allow to support the activities of the centre, but that many elderly people in difficulty can no longer guarantee. The House is much more than a centre for elderly people, it is a place where you can breathe a familiar, warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can spend days in company. Their serenity is the most important thing. For this reason we have not closed our doors but now we need someone to help the Parish to find the resources to continue these activities. Families and the elderly cannot be left alone, especially after the year we have just lived, forced into extreme loneliness. Your donation will allow us to continue to stay close to them and to guarantee - to those who cannot afford even that small contribution we ask - a place in our House. DANIELA x welcome to the centre those who cannot afford it

Fundraising by Daniela Drei

The "Casa dei Nonni Sant'Anna" is a fundamental presence in the territory of Forlì to respond to the increasingly urgent need to fight the loneliness of the third age. This is why we ask for your support to help the Parish S. Maria Ausiliatrice to sustain the many expenses and activities of the center. Families and elderly people cannot be left alone, especially after the year we have just lived, forced into serious isolation. To stay close to them we need your help.
