Let's run together for the right to water
I am Enrico, I am 35 years old, I am married to Marta and I am Alisia's dad.
Today I want to propose you to become part of an adventure that I have decided to undertake, to help me support a project that isvery close to my heart and that the Pope John XXIII Community, of which I have been a member since 2011, is carrying out in Kenya, in the Turkana region, thanks to Simone Ceciliani, a missionary who has been living there for more than 10 years.
It hasn't rained in Turkana for three years, andpeople here are forced to drink the non-potable water from the lake, which, however, is heavily polluted.
The Community wants to ensure access to drinking water for more than 3 thousand people through the construction of wells for the people in the villages, but to do this we need the help of as many people as possible because it is a large and expensive project .
I have chosen to dedicate my next sports challenge to these people, and to run for these children, for these families who struggle to survive every day. And I ask you to support my endeavor by helping me raise funds for this important project.
At the end of 2022 I have decided to try a great adventure: to run the 3 races of the Trittico di Romagna:
- 02/04/2023 - Lamone Marathon (Russi)
- 25/04/2023 - 50 km of Romagna (Castel Bolognese)
- 27/05/2023 - 100 km del Passatore (from Florence to Faenza).
I have chosen to share this challenge also with my friends, with all of you, to do something doubly beautiful: to run and to support together the construction of wells in Turkana.
I will put my legs, head and heart into it, but I will need all of you to reach the goal! Come on, are you in?
