"We need an integral approach to fight poverty and save nature," comments Pope Francis. For the past 23 years, the Peace Community has been engaged in a process of defending the Common Home by putting the good of all humanity before everything, even life itself.
We walk along beaten earth paths created over the years by the passage of people and animals, in the midst of colourful meadows with flowers and immense trees, butterflies that colour the sky, birds that sing melodies and springs from which crystal clear water gushes out to quench our thirst when we pass by, and the animals and plants that populate that forest.
It becomes so easy to feel obliged to look after Creation, yet even though we have walked with them, we are not so equal. If, as someone wrote, "to guard the truth is to protect a desire in the heart," what is the truth that we guard?

"Y que es la esperanza? La esperanza es cuando ya no odiamos el asesino, la esperanza es cuando construimos comunidad hoy y dónde estamos".
Muchas gente solidaria de todo el mundo se puso en camino al la lado de la Comunidad de Paz de San José de Apartadó contribuyendo a construir esta esperanza. Muchas gente solidaria de todo el mundo conoció a Operazione Colomba que desde hace más de 10 años acompaña a estxs valientes campesinxs. Para seguir caminando junto.
