We help the group home where I did my community service
Fundraising by Anastasia Agosta
Franco and Giovanna live in Scicli and are the father and mother of the Santa Chiara Family House, a shelter of the Pope John XXIII Community. In their family I did my community service. Six children with disabilities currently live in the house, capable of giving unconditional love every day: 22-year-old Ilary, 19-year-old Giacomo, 17-year-old Chiaretta, 12-year-old M. and two 5-year-old little brothers, curious and always ready to explore the world.
For Franco and Giovanna, their children are an immense gift and that is why they take care of them with great love and attention. Now they need our help for an important goal: to buy a new car that will ensure the children's attendance at therapies and support paths.
I chose to help them because I have known them for a long time, ever since I went to school and saw the little ones now young and happy. With this fundraiser we can help them find the €13,000 needed to purchase the car, each putting in their own piece.
Every donation, big or small, is valuable. Thank you!
