I often find myself waking up at night and not being able to get back to sleep.

I often find myself starting to fantasize, think and dream a lot in those dark moments with my eyes open.

I often find myself questioning my being, who I am, what I am doing, where I want to go and what I want to become.

I often catch myself recognizing the fortunes I have in my life and I often catch myself thinking about the people who are and have been a part of it.

I often find that the day-to-day distracts me from important thoughts and things.

...During the day, however, I often find myself running.

And that is precisely why this page, this idea and this project was born.

I'm putting down on paper a commitment, "a small sporting venture" that has really been rattling around in my head for a long time but was always just a thought.

Those who run seriously call them ULTRA's ...

... I of ULTRA just wish there was an 'ultra closeness to the people I met through Operation Dove, the nonviolent Peace Corps of the Pope John XXIII Community present in so many conflict zones to support the most fragile populations. I have been one of their volunteers since 2009 and have been to Albania, Kosovo, Palestine and Colombia, always to give a voice to the voiceless.

On my 35th birthday I lace up my shoes and run with you, from Imperia to Albissola. "Run" with me and support this project. Come on, are you in?
