25 years of love and sharing
Hi, we are Renata and Cristian mom and dad from the "Baby Jesus" family home of the Pope John XXIII Community. June 21 is a very important date for us: we celebrate 25 years of marriage! As those who know us know, even in important moments for our family, we want to think of those who are most in need, aware that we have received so many gifts in our lives.
We ask you to help us support a project that isvery close to our hearts and that the Pope John XXIII Community, of which we are a part, is carrying out in Kenya, in the Turkana region, thanks to our friend Simone, a missionary who has been living there for more than 10 years. It hasn't rained in Turkana for three years, and people here are forced to drink the non-potable water from the lake, which, however, is heavily polluted.
The Community wants to ensure access to drinking water for more than 3 thousand people through the construction of wells for the people in the villages, but to do this we need the help of as many people as possible because it is a large and expensive project.
We have chosen to dedicate this very special day for us to these families who struggle every day to survive. And we ask you to support this initiative by helping us raise funds for this important project.
