I had the opportunity to have a field experience, particularly in Ukraine, with Operation Dove. Living with the people of Mykolaiv and Kherson was an opportunity to embrace humanity: very often there was a lack of electricity in Mykolaiv and bombing was continuous in Kherson, yet life went on and hope was never lacking. Very often people were visibly tired of the war and yet I was able to ascertain a resistance that was stronger than armed. I look forward to being able to hug the people I met again!
