The family house "Fatima Home for Children" has to start the construction of a new house but the works are blocked due to lack of funds. With your help we can finish the necessary works!

I am Susan, mother of the Family Home "Fatima Home for Children" of the Pope John XXIII Community. Together with Bupe, Mama, Florence, Monica, Max, Mapalo and Justina I live in Mansa, Zambia. 2017 was an important year: we managed to start the construction of our new home; it will be great to fill it with hugs and laughter! I say will be because unfortunately the works have been stopped for a long time due to lack of funds. The Community, which already supports all our daily needs, has already put in all available resources, and we have done the same but it is a very important expense. Missing:
  • the external walls, which make the house and the children inside safe (cost €8,300);
  • the kitchen, beds, wardrobes and all the furniture necessary for daily life (cost €2,300);
  • the water well, indispensable because running water is often lacking (cost €3,500).
We would like to move as soon as possible so that we can also welcome other children and young people who still live in vulnerable situations to give them, in addition to a home, a family. It is now that we ask for your help, because only with everyone's contribution can we collect the amount needed to finish the work as soon as possible.
