A minibus for the Family House "Maria Stella del Mattino".
The Family Home's minibus is now old, living in a small village a suitable means of transport is essential for daily activities. Help them to buy a new bus for the whole family!
We are Samuel and Liliana, father and mother of the Family House "Maria Stella del Mattino" of the Pope John XXIII Community and we live in Nidastore, a small village in the Municipality of Arcevia (AN), in a house in the old part of the village. There are 9 of us in the family: we parents, Tiago, Gabriele, Elena, Benedetta, Pellumb, Liljane and Teuta.
Nidastore is a small village of less than 50 inhabitants in the hills of the Marche, half an hour's drive from everything! It is a beautiful but remote place and this causes us various problems: there are no services here, and to reach the schools, the hospital or simply to go shopping, we are forced to travel many kilometres every day.
The presence of a Family House in this small village is very significant, but from a logistical point of view, we have to cope with the needs of a large family like ours, because it is important to meet the needs of the children and young people we take in. Precisely for this reason we need a new means of transport.
This sudden expense was not foreseeable and the Community, which already takes care of the many needs of our and other Family Homes, at this time does not have the resources to purchase our own bus. This is why, together, we decided to launch this fundraiser asking for help from all our friends.
We need your help to buy a new bus: to transport the people who live in our Family House and the others we will still be able to welcome.
