A warm winter for the "San Martino" Family Home
The Family Home urgently needs to buy two new boilers before winter starts because the current ones, after 20 years, are no longer suitable. Thanks to friends, near and far, they will be able to reach their goal. Are you in?
We are Roberto and Maria Teresa, who have been married for 33 years and a dad and mom for 20 years at the "S. Martino" Family Home in Sergnano (CR). We share our lives with very special people: struggling moms with their children, young and disabled people with very different needs and resources. There are currently 10 of us in the family but our door is always open for those who need a family.
We all need the warmth of our family ... but we also need the warmth of the walls of our house and the hot water that comes down from our taps: our two boilers, at the ripe old age of 20 years, after numerous aches and pains and repairs, have failed their overhaul.
We urgently need to buy two new boilers before winter starts. The amount is very high and that is why we thought we would share our need with close people and friends by launching this fundraising project. The Community is already helping us but we also want to contribute to the expense, also thanks to our friends: because the more we are the sooner we will get warm!
