The St. Clelia Family House is moving!
For years their house has not been able to meet their needs, especially those of Stefano, who suffers from cerebral palsy: this is why they have decided to move, but there are still many indispensable things missing. Help them to buy everything they need!
We are Fabio and Claudia, father and mother of the Family House "S. Clelia" and we live in Monterenzio (BO). In our family we are 8: Maurizio, a 32 years old boy with psychiatric problems; Stefano, 26 years old, affected by cerebral palsy; and our three natural sons, Riccardo, Giacomo, Federico and the little S., 8 years old, in foster care since five years.
For years now, our house has not been able to meet our children's needs, especially Stefano's: he needs more space to move around with his big wheelchair and the rooms are very small, it is impossible to install lifts in the bathroom and in his room, so we have always been forced to lift him up and move him in our arms, which is very tiring both for him and for us.
For these reasons we decided to move to another house. On September 10th we moved in but we still have to finish furnishing some rooms, especially Stefano's room.
- We need new mattresses and pillows for physiotherapy use;
- Large mirrors to hang on the walls;
- A portable hospital-style cabinet for medicines and medical aids;
- A television set big enough because Stefano is visually impaired.
- In the new house there are still many pieces of furniture, dishes and chairs missing but the one we need the most concerns our Stefano.
Finally, in the new house there will be all the right spaces for him to live serenely and free to move around. But we need your help to be able to buy everything we need.
