St. Paul's Family Home: SOS automobile!
Marco and Simona, mom and dad of the Family House "San Paolo" of the Pope John XXIII Community, have been a family for those who are alone for 15 years. Now they need your help to cover the cost of a new car, essential for the whole family, especially for those with disabilities. Let's help them reach the goal: €8,000, together we can do it!
Marco and Simona, mom and dad of the Family House "San Paolo" of the Pope John XXIII Community, have been a family for anyone in need of help for 15 years: mothers with children, adolescents, people with mental fragility or physical disabilities, seriously ill infants, former drug addicts and adults in difficult situations. There are currently 8 in the home: mom Simona and dad Marco, Mihaela, Diego, Gabriele, Matteo, Livio and grandma Anna.
In such a large family, the commitments are many and the trips to make even more! Having an adequate vehicle for their needs is essential: some go to school, some to the day care center, some to work, and some to the hospital for routine visits. Their car, which has accompanied them on their travels and trips over the years, is now too old to be used. Fortunately, Marco and Simona's Family Home is located within the "Village of Charity," along with other community entities, and many times other families have come to their rescue when their car has left them stranded!
The Family House "San Paolo " is also located in San Rocco Castagnaretta, on the outskirts of Cuneo, thus far from the City Hall, hospital, medical clinics, schools, etc. Although public transportation is quite convenient, it is still not very accessible to those who are not autonomous or have a disability such as Mihaela, who suffers from Right Hemiparesis from a stroke due to severe heart disease. A new car is therefore essential to enable their family to provide all their children with what they need. Help them cover the cost of a new car, €8,000 is needed: unity is strength!
