Christmas angel: a small gesture can make a child's smile special
Bring the magic of Christmas to our centers in Brazil, where children and youth find a haven of hope through school support, vocational training and many recreational activities. With this fundraiser we will be able to give them toys and clothes to make this Christmas truly for everyone!
We are Greta and Amani, White Helmets of the Pope John XXIII Community in Brazil. Through this extraordinary experience we have the privilege of working with children and adolescents who face difficult challenges every day, often threatened by the dangerous vortex of drug trafficking and child exploitation.
The Community Centers that host these children are a refuge of hope because they offer educational support, vocational training and moments of joy through play and recreational activities. Here at the "Arco Iris" Center and the "Casa da Juventude" we hold daily classes in dance, theater, capoeira, jiu-jitsu and other recreational activities, which offer the children an alternative to the dangers of the street.
To make Christmas come to the homes of our 500 children, we decided to personally launch a fundraiser to give them toys and clothes. A small gift that can really make this holiday season special!
