Help us get the Youth of Ukraine bus back on the road
In Ukraine's Kherson region, drone attacks target communities already exhausted by war every day. Here Youth of Ukraine has been working with the Pope John XXIII Community (APG23) since 2022, including through Operation Dove volunteers in the field. While the staff was busy digging a well in a rural village the minibus was badly damaged. Let's help them repair it so they can continue to care for the victims of war.
In Ukraine's Kherson region, where drone attacks daily target communities already exhausted by war, our local partner Youth of Ukraine's minibus was severely damaged while staff were engaged in excavating a well in a rural village.
Youth of Ukraine has been working with the Pope John XXIII Community (APG23) since 2022 - including through Operation Dove volunteers on the ground - to support the most vulnerable civilian population. Today, that vehicle is indispensable for reaching isolated villages, transporting workers and materials, and ensuring the continuity of water activities in an area marked by severe drinking water shortages.
Without the bus, essential interventions risk stopping right where the need is most urgent. With your help, we can repair it and get it back on the road quickly, because clean water means health, dignity and a chance to stay in your community.
