Hi I'm Rita and I want to tell you a story that has immense value to me.My son John has a dream: to live independently, just like all people his age. Thanks to the "I try to live on my own" project, he has found a safe place where he can learn to manage his daily life, grow and become more and more independent. Every small achievement, such as cooking a meal, shopping for groceries, organizing his day, makes him very proud and is a step toward his future.But today this house needs help. Time and wear and tear have scarred it, and urgent interventions are needed to make it safe again and provide John and his housemates with a cozy and functional place to live.The total cost of the interventions is 15,000€. That's why I decided to launch a fundraiser: because every contribution, big or small, can make a difference. Total project goal: 15.000 €

"I try to live on my own" is a project that, thanks to the collaboration between GRD Faenza and the Pope John XXIII Community, offers young people with disabilities the opportunity to learn to live on their own. Now they need your help to raise the €15,000 needed for the maintenance of one of the homes made available to the young people, which has seriously deteriorated over time.
