A future for our children: support the moms at Amini Home

I live in Nairobi, in Githurai, one of Kenya's poorest and most run-down neighborhoods. Here, in the Amini Home, I share my life with girls - victims of prostitution and poverty - who struggle every day for a better future. Amini in Swahili, the local language, means "to believe." I am here because I really believe in it. I decided to give a year of my life to these women, and together we are trying to build a new hope. Many of them have been forced to sell themselves for less than a euro, just to survive, and many also have children who need medicine and the ability to go to school. To help them, take them in and send their children to school, we need money, including for school supplies and medical care. With the project we have also managed to have a Kibanda, a small garage that we pay rent for and use to sell clothes and try to support these women. We also offer courses in sewing, cooking, and aesthetics (hair and nails) so that the girls can learn a trade and find a decent job.Today I ask for your help to support these women: every gesture counts, even the smallest. If we believe in it more, all together, we can make a difference. A donation, even a small one, or sharing in this collection can change their fate. Together we can give these brave women and their children the chance to choose a different path and hope for a better future.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Total project goal: 20.000 €

The "Amini Home" project was established in March 2023 in the Nairobi district of Kenya, where hundreds of women every day prostitute themselves on the streets or in clubs in order to survive and provide necessities for their children.
