The "A Meal a Day" campaign of the John XXIII Community founded by Don Oreste Benzi is back
Fundraising by Roberto Manini
The Pope John XXIII Community, thanks to the awareness-raising and fundraising initiative"A Meal a Day," shares the table and life with those in need, in Italy and in about 40 countries around the world.
In the squares throughout Italy, on September 27 and 28 there will be an opportunity to make a contribution to guarantee a meal, but also a roof and a family, to those who have nothing, but the initiative continues throughout the month of October.

It was Don Oreste Benzi himself, the founder of the association, who during a trip in 1985, visiting the first mission started that year in Zambia by the Community, made us aware that with ten thousand liras a month one could guarantee a meal a day to a malnourished child and save him.
Everyone can make a contribution so that many people can have the necessities of life. Solidarity with others is a gesture that is invaluable and brings peace and serenity in a world devastated by so many negative and bloody events.
