SUMUDTo Exist is to Resist Palestine in Lucas Calle's shots, taken in the summer of 2024 while volunteering with Operation Dove (Nonviolent Peace Corps of the Pope John XXIII Community) in the project in Masafer Yatta, West Bank, Palestine. "I spent three months in the hills south of Hebron, accompanying Palestinian shepherds. The fundraiser supports the project: Operation Dove in Palestine - 2025
Total project goal: 15.000 €

Since 2002, volunteers from Operation Dove have been present in Palestine, first in the Gaza Strip, in Al Qarara (Khan Younis), then since 2004 in the West Bank, in the village of At-Tuwani (hills south of Hebron). Today more than ever, therefore, the presence of Operation Dove volunteers is essential: to protect the safety of the Palestinian inhabitants of the area, who just want to live on their own land.
