IT CAN BE DONE! We realize dreams of Independent and Autonomous living.

Hi. I am Ambra, a professional socio-pedagogical educator.Since 2017, I have been collaborating with GRD (Parents Boys with Disabilities) of Faenza on the "YOU CAN DO!" project.I strongly believe in achieving autonomy and have been training so that people with disabilities have equal opportunities for growth and achievement. It was a great experience for me to participate in the creation of the first Homes for Autonomy in the Faenza area in which young people with intellectual disabilities acquire domestic skills that are expendable in society and with others. It is a great satisfaction to see them taking care of their homes by collaborating with friends-roommates, growing together every day!Even the neighborhood appreciates us!Our apartments then become positive contaminations of inclusion! With this fundraiser, we ask you to believe once again in the realization of our dreams, betting with us in independent and autonomous living!Help us raise the 15,000€ needed for the maintenance of the houses where the boys live. Hi. I am Ambra, a professional socio-pedagogical educator.

Since 2017, I have been collaborating with GRD (Parents Boys with Disabilities) of Faenza on the "YOU CAN DO!" project.

I strongly believe in achieving autonomy and have been training so that people with disabilities have equal opportunities for growth and achievement.

It was a great experience for me to participate in the creation of the first Homes for Autonomy in the Faenza area in which young people with intellectual disabilities acquire domestic skills that are expendable in society and with others.

It is a great satisfaction to see them taking care of their homes by collaborating with friends-roommates, growing together every day!

Even the neighborhood appreciates us!

Our apartments then become positive contaminations of inclusion!

With this fundraiser, we ask you to believe once again in the realization of our dreams, betting with us in independent and autonomous living!

Help us raise the 15,000€ needed for the maintenance of the houses where the boys live. Thanks to your support they will be more and more functional and affordable for them!

Special thanks from me but especially from Rossana, Anna, Giovanni, Alice, Giusy, Tommaso, Luigi, Giulia and Maria Luisa.

You can also donate by bank transfer or postal bulletin.

The fundraiser supports the project: I try to live alone: a project to support young people with disabilities
Total project goal: 15.000 €

"I try to live on my own" is a project that, thanks to the collaboration between GRD Faenza and the Pope John XXIII Community, offers young people with disabilities the opportunity to learn to live on their own. Now they need your help to raise the €15,000 needed for the maintenance of one of the homes made available to the young people, which has seriously deteriorated over time.
