Roberto is turning 80!

The higher we climb, the more out of breath we get—but how breathtaking the views that open up before our eyes become.”(Ingmar Bergman)On the occasion of this milestone birthday, I’ve taken this beautiful quote to heart—one with which I fully identify. As the years go by, we see life’s realities differently, less superficially, and that’s why I wanted to use this milestone birthday as an opportunity to do something meaningful.To celebrate this special occasion, in fact, I’ve chosen to turn it into an act of solidarity by launching a fundraiser in support of the the Pope John XXIII Community , which for more than 50 years has been welcoming those who are alone and in need of help and ensuring at least one meal a day for those suffering from hunger, in Italy and around the world.I’d like to turn this moment of celebration into tangible help for those in need. Making a donation instead of giving a gift is an unusual gesture, but one full of love! Every contribution is precious. Thank you.

The fundraiser supports the project: Family Homes need you!

The Family Homes of the Pope John XXIII Community are more than homes. Before being physical structures, they are emotional structures. They are families. Dads and mothers who donate their homes, their time and their lives to disabled children, lonely and abandoned people and anyone else who needs to be welcomed and helped.
