To keep Giragirasole open, every bit of help counts!

Hi, I’m Anna Lisa, a volunteer with the Pope John XXIII Community, which has been running the Giragirasole Community Center in Fano since 2012.Giragirasole was created to meet a need: to fill the gap in after-school activities for young people—including those with disabilities—by providing a space where they can experience genuine relationships and friendships with their peers in complete peace of mind, and enjoy a variety of activities together, such as integrated dance and theater, swimming, yoga, creative workshops, and visits to educational farms. Giragirasole is a space all their own where they can move freely, express themselves, and be themselves.Over the years, we’ve supported these activities in countless ways, and families have always helped us as well, but today we’ve reached a point where we risk not being able to reopen our programs in the fall due to a lack of funds (we need €30,000 by September 18 to cover costs and keep the Center open). For me, Giragirasole is about connection , mutual support, joy, challenge, discovery, the ability to bounce back, and community. The atmosphere I breathe at Giragirasole is joyful, fun, and full of a desire to be together—to discover that, beyond each person’s limitations, we can experience the beauty of everyday life and unforgettable encounters.I would do everything in my power to ensure that Giragirasole can continue to exist and offer a space for life and growth. That’s why I’ve decided to launch a personal fundraising campaign : we don’t want to—and we can’t—abandon our young people and their families.Your donation today will make a difference for all of us.If you’re unable to donate right now, you can still support us by sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and colleagues—or by creating your own, just as I have, and supporting the cause alongside us!Thank you so much for your help—I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed.

Hi, I’m Anna Lisa, a volunteer with the Pope John XXIII Community, which has been running the Giragirasole Community Center in Fano since 2012.

Giragirasole was created to meet a need: to fill the gap in after-school activities for young people—including those with disabilities—by providing a space where they can experience genuine relationships and friendships with their peers in complete peace of mind, and enjoy a variety of activities together, such as integrated dance and theater, swimming, yoga, creative workshops, and visits to educational farms. Giragirasole is a space all their own where they can move freely, express themselves, and be themselves.

Over the years, we’ve supported these activities in countless ways, and families have always helped us as well, but today we’ve reached a point where we risk not being able to reopen our programs in the fall due to a lack of funds (we need €30,000 by September 18 to cover costs and keep the Center open).

For me, Giragirasole is about connection , mutual support, joy, challenge, discovery, the ability to bounce back, and community. The atmosphere I breathe at Giragirasole is joyful, fun, and full of a desire to be together—to discover that, beyond each person’s limitations, we can experience the beauty of everyday life and unforgettable encounters.

I would do everything in my power to ensure that Giragirasole can continue to exist and offer a space for life and growth.

That’s why I’ve decided to launch a personal fundraising campaign : we don’t want to—and we can’t—abandon our young people and their families.

Your donation today will make a difference for all of us.

If you’re unable to donate right now, you can still support us by sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and colleagues—or by creating your own, just as I have, and supporting the cause alongside us!

Thank you so much for your help—I’m sure it won’t go unnoticed.

The fundraiser supports the project: Let's help the Giragirasole Center stay open
Total project goal: 30.000 €

The Giragirasole Community Center, founded as an initiative of the Pope John XXIII Community, has been operating since 2012 in the heart of the Marche region, in Fano in the province of Pesaro-Urbino. Its goal has always been to offer young people with disabilities a space where they can express themselves and grow. Now they need your help to raise, by September 18, 2026, the €30,000 needed to cover the costs of additional educators, who are essential for guiding each young person and helping them realize their full potential.
