The presence of volunteers in Chile to monitor the conflict between state-business and the Mapuche people is very important.

• It is important because it gives voice to those who have no voice.
• It is important because it supports who have been victims of discrimination and racism for centuries.
• It is important to reaffirm and support the rights of indigenous peoples.
• It is important because the Mapuche defend territory from over-exploitation.
• It is important because it seeks to support defenders of the Earth.
• It is important because it stands with those who go to jail to defend their land and rights.
• It is important because the Mapuche teach us that there is another form of development.
• It is important because a nonviolent presence in a conflict can help its resolution

For these and other reasons I ask you to continue to support Operation Dove's presence with the Mapuche of Chile.

I, after three years in Chile animating this project, have returned to live in Italy but I am still determined to support this project. Give me a hand!
