Simone is a young missionary who has been living in Kenya since 2011.Together with the Pope John XXIII Community, he wants to set up a well in Turkana, where it hasn't rained for three years and people are forced to drink non-drinking water from the lake, which, however, is heavily polluted. The Pope John XXIII Community, of which our Cooperative is a part, wants to ensure access to drinking water for more than 3 thousand people through the construction of wells for the people in the villages, but to do this we need the help of as many people as possible because it is a large and expensive project. We have chosen to dedicate this festive evening that we will experience together, to Simone and these families who struggle to survive every day.And we ask you to support this initiative by helping us raise funds for this important project. The Turkana region of Kenya is facing one of the worst droughts in 40 years. People are forced to dig shallow holes in lake beds to search for water, but it is dirty and undrinkable, causing serious health problems, especially among children. The solution is the construction of wells that can provide potable water. The total cost of the work is €126,990. Everyone's support is needed to achieve this goal. Your help now is indispensable.
