In Sorso there is the day centre "Il Girasole", which I personally have known for many years. Istarted as a volunteer in 1997 and since then I have noticed the evolution of the centre, following it step by step and seeing how it has always remained a point of reference for many special friends and their families.Now the urgency is to requalify the spaces and open a second day centrefor job training.However, the costs are high: € 50,000.It is an important dream to be realized, but the boys believe that at Christmas are the greatest wishes those that come true and with the help of all we can do it."Giving gives more joy than receiving, not because it is deprivation, but because in that act I feel alive." The young people with disabilities of the town of Sorso, in Sardinia, have a great desire: the renovation of the spaces of their day center "Il Girasole" and the opening of a second center. The Cooperativa Sociale San Damiano, which manages the center promoted by the Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII, knows that it is an important dream to realize, but with your help the boys can make it happen. Be a brick in this great enterprise, we need you!
