What do you mean, 40 years?

Operazione Colomba is the Nonviolent Peace Corps of the Pope John XXIII Community. It was founded in 1992 out of a desire to put nonviolence into practice in war zones. We become who we are through the people we meet and the relationships we build. At this time of personal reflection, I would like to focus on what I have come to consider valuable and what, despite everything, allows me to look to the future with hope. One of the experiences closest to my heart is my time with Operazione Colomba, which uses relationships as the primary tool for transforming conflicts. That is why I want to continue supporting its projects, which remain active in countries severely affected by the oppression of one person by another.Thank you for helping me support a cause I believe in.

The fundraiser supports the project: Operation Dove
Total project goal: 15.000 €

Operazione Colomba's volunteers work side by side with victims in conflict zones, living with them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, sharing risks and hardships but also hopes and possible solutions. Thanks to their international presence and nonviolent actions, they protect the lives of defenseless civilians and concretely build Peace where there is hatred and violence. Peace in the world is a common good: to build it, we need everyone's help.
