For Family! Let's lend a hand to Maria Cristina and Luca's Family Home.

Luca and Maria Cristina are the father and mother of the Family House "Aquila and Priscilla," a welcoming reality of the Pope John XXIII Community. Their desire to open wide the doors of their home to anyone who feels the need for the warmth of a family to find hope has guided them on a beautiful path. Over the years, they have given affection and support to so many lonely children, young people facing difficult times, the elderly, mothers and adults with cognitive and mental fragility. Now they need our help to protect the well-being of their family, especially those living in a more fragile condition: unfortunately, the climate change in recent years has led to increasingly scorching summers and their home has become an unlivable place during the hottest months, putting a strain on the health of the children and the people taken in.In addition to this problem, they currently have only a used minibus to get around, which now with well over 350,000 kilometers, needs constant and expensive maintenance. To make the rooms in the house livable in the hot season and be able to move around safely they now need to purchase air conditioners and a new minibus. The total need for these necessities is €68,000.I have chosen to help Maria Cristina and her family because, being my sister, I know her life and her vocation to the most fragile.Let's help them achieve this important goal and give them the opportunity to live more serenely in the summers and move all together safely, without the worry of sudden breakdowns. Please participate with a donation as well. Thank you!
